Judge Walker predictably but against all logic has decided that there will be no negative consequences for his ruling against the system on which America was founded. The will of the voters means nothing to him and the Constitution means nothing to him. Proposition 8 has been overturned. The writing is on the wall - I shudder to think about what is going to happen in America. We need to repent of so much sin in our lives and in our nation - and we need to repent of our apathy in letting things like this happen.
Lord have mercy. Our Lady of Kibeho - pray for us.

In what could be the case of this century, the federal ruling on same-sex "marriage" is expected to hit newswires between 1:00-3:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The suit, which kicked off this January, pits Proposition 8 against the U.S. Constitution. Homosexual activists, led by powerhouse attorneys like Ted Olson, claim that the state's marriage amendment violates the "civil rights" of same-sex couples under the U.S. Constitution. It's important for Americans to recognize that once this decision comes down, it ceases to be a California case. Both sides have vowed to appeal, meaning that, in a matter of hours, this will become a national issue.
Although the media keeps referring to it as "the Prop 8" case, this lawsuit has the ability to affect every marriage law in America. If Judge Vaughn Walker rules that defining marriage as the union of a man and woman violates the federal Constitution--and that ruling is upheld all the way through the Supreme Court--it would mean that same-sex "marriage" would be legal in all 50 states, crushing every federal statute and state amendment. That makes this case, quite literally, the Roe v. Wade of marriage. Regardless of anyone's beliefs about the family, voters need to understand that this suit has the ability to decide whether America is a republic or an oligarchy ruled by an ideological elite.
